Gas Meters

I have a Quantom Meter where its prepaid for gas so for most of this winter so far I've froze to death because I can't feed enough money in to the meter.

Also I had not been able to cook, as my gas cooker was not attached to the gas point in the flat, it is now but it helps when you know some one who can get the parts cheap.

So I rang my suppliers a few months ago and they quoted me £40 per month via Direct Debit so I said VERY POLITELY I'll have to think about that!!!! (i'm unemployed you morons). Rang them again yesterday and lo and behold I have a appointment with the gasman to swap it for a normal meter so not only will i be warm but can heat water and feed myself decent meals (no emersion heater, council removed that).

My plans for self employment are begining to come together, need to make further enquires but a business plan is being built as I get the info.

Will try to blog a bit more but I don't always have something to say.

Blog u later

He's being modest actually. He's dreamed of running his own business for the couple of decades I've known him, and at long last, it's coming together. He's got a big break. No, really - he has! Unlike a lot of wanna-be's I come across, the chap has actually put the effort in.

So even if you only pray ocasionally, please pray he hits the right advisors to help him formulate a knock'em'out business plan - which is the only major obstacle he has.

Go sheffie, Go sheffie!

When you get a normal meter Sheffie that means you will be able to live up to your name and do some cooking.

You don't say how much a normal meter will cost, but I guess they must have made you a better offer than before.

On the self-employment front, go for it best you can, my brother has been self-employed for over 20 years now..one of the best things he ever did.Being his own boss suited him very well and 20+ years later his business is better than ever.

oh, btw, if ever stuck as to what to blog about just blog about daily life...I do.
