Job Hunting Gone Wrong

Whoops done it again! I said I would apply for a job, but I didn’t so they had to go and check it out. They notified me of this saying I may be Sanctioned didn’t hear from them for a while so, silly me! thought I would live for another day NOPE!

As of yesterday I have had no money from the government, now don’t get me wrong I didn’t do as I should of and I should be Sanctioned but for FOUR MONTHS!!! No way buster.

For pity’s sake I'm a Type 2 diabetic controlled by diet and Insulin only, how do they expect me to survive, now I have appealed against this, based on the fact of my health not the sanction which I accept.

Now I can get something called the Hardship Fund which is basically the same money as I got previously, but up to 40% less, now if I get this and win my appeal then I get my percentage that I lost back.

And to make things worse I had an infection in a finger on my left hand (1st finger at the joint where the middle part of the finger joins the nail bit), that got worse so when i visited the Minor Injuries @ The Northern General Hospital they turned round said "don’t like this your staying in for a few days" brilliant I thought some decent food for nothing, Its still as bad as ever! so I went for a operation on it under a local anaesthetic and had to sleep with my hand in a sling in an upright position but they could not get my blood sugars level, but eventual they had to let me go. Now this was a week last Saturday, now i'm right handed but you use your left hand just as much, Isnt the Human Body so cool and yet so Awkward.

Web Design

Well I've been going to a training course at a place called Red Tape in Sheffield. Doing level 2 web design, I did level 1 last year and we finally got to the stage the we are dealing with DIVS!!!!! Don't worry if you don't know what it is, basically you use it to create a web sites template and then have a really cool website.


Now when I'm given some written instructions then I can just go through them like a dose of salts.

But today I could not get anything right, so went down to the drinks machine and bought a Dr Pepper (500ml) bottle and a Yorkie bar of chocolate, then went back upstairs (plenty of exercise is done here), sat in a break out area and just stared at the monitor try to think what I had done, then like all good ideas, I figured out what had gone wrong, went back in redid the template and it looked just as it did in the paper eventually.

So when I go back next week, we only do 2 hours on Wednesday but since the Tutor missed a session we are all staying behind an extra 30 mins, to play catch up.

Just need to get a stable system at home to practice what we learn when I've got better then I will be updating a site I did for my dad and when It's done i put a link in a post some time for you all to browse.

Hello Peeps

BOO

I'm back or am I!!!!!!!!!!

Kitchen and Bathroom is done, would put up pictures but they are a mess so I'll leave that for now.

Peter Fenwick, a dear friend and my Pastor at the church I go to, died at the weekend, luckily we had made some of our Leaders, Elders who this coming Sunday will be ordained (cant think of the correct word) and then on Thursday at St Johns Church in Sheffield where Peter first became a Christian. We are expecting 300+ people to send him off, mind you he's sat upstairs chatting to some of the biggest names in Christianity including the main man Jesus Christ!

I'll try to blog a bit more and update you on my life so far, had not realised it had been so long that i posted (Whoops!)

Renovations

Well tomorrow my local council will start to modernise my flat, just the Kitchen and the Bathroom.

Work to commence 1st of December and the first week consists of:

Tuesday--------------------Demolition of kitchen
Wednesday----------------Plumbing
Thursday-------------------Electrics
Friday----------------------Plastering

Second week

Monday--------------------New Kitchen?
Other than this ill pass on what order?

Well back to the grindstone, before i run out of electric(pay day tomorrow care of the gov)

Wow 2nd blog in the month

One Year On

Well im still in the same flat, still unemployed, but now to spend 100 hours doing community service. Why? because the lack of judgement at a time of stress? (I'm not sure why!) I did some bad things and was arrested, charged and pleaded guilty. And got a slap on the hand. I asked a lot of friends to pray for me as I could of gone to prison. So a major event in my life happened 3 days before all of this took off......

I Turned 40

So what next Ill try to do the next few things but don't be to bothered if i don't.....


Improve Health (Cant cure it but can make it more manageable)
Job.
Debt Reduction (in progress but slow).
Girlfriend.
Driving License.

The above are in no particular order just to get one in the next year would be nice.....

Ok I decided to change my Blog format and added some new features and other things as well.

Well, still looking for jobs, and still no net, doing some voluntary work at Patriotgames in town for a mate inputting data into the shop till/web database ie stock checking, etc.
